Welcome to the zombie apocalypse experience of a lifetime – and now more beautiful than ever. Caught in the midst of an epic zombie outbreak on the tropical island of Banoi, your only thought is: Survive! Deep silver shouldnt be allowed to saw hey Definitive Edition you can play with other players who got the Game of the Year edition or other Normal editions. I would understand if my friend didnt have the DLC but they got rid of the original store game and now people cant play unless they have the exact copy? that’s dumb. Deep silver needs to turn everyone’s already bought copies into definitive. This is wrong for sure.. Progression is exciting and the developers clearly put a lot of effort into making the world as interesting as they possibly can. I love the idea of tropical paradise turning into hell and there is a variety of different environments to explore. In terms of world-building there is not much either. The collectibles do not enhance the lore at all nor are they fun or interesting to read. All side quests follow a recurring pattern of fetching items, saving people, and escorting survivors. There are also quite a few side quests called “continuous events” which award you XP for delivering certain items to the quest giver over and over — I did not see the point of this at all and found 99% of them to be useless. I completed all the side quests, but by the end of it I could not stomach it any longer, and I started skipping most of the dialogue, which was always the same.

I’m not a huge graphics guy but I think Deep Silver really dropped the ball with these definitive editions. I enjoy the gameplay a lot. I love jump kicking zombies, I love crafting mods and I enjoy looting unique or exceptional items. I think the concept of having a zombie outbreak in a tropical island is fantastic and it definitely stands out. I am also a big fan of co-op, and this game encourages it immensely — ???? ?????? is a lot more fun when played with friends. This remaster looks beautiful and definitely does the game justice. The combat can be frustrating at times but it also feels rewarding — using a machete to cut the zombies’ heads off, cutting off a thug’s limbs, or setting a horde of zombies on fire with a Molotov does something to me. My co-op partner called me a sadist! The DLC arenas are also very fun and enjoyable and.
