Put them to use by getting them to join you for some local co-op carnage! Up to four friends can cause terror together! Let me start by saying that I DO recommend this game, but it comes at a price. You have to be bombarded by SNL tier political “humor” which is just dreadful. The game would be perfect if not for the clear politics being shoehorned at every chance the creator had to insert it. The game play is mint, it’s real satisfying to destroy cities and it is reminiscent of Rampage (minus the killer art style). If there was a way to totally skip cut scenes and not be forced to ingest the cringiest writing ever I would 100% not be leaving a negative review because at least I’d be able to avoid the crap story. I hope in the future we see another game like this but without the political overtones and ya know just a game that’s fun. Please reconsider making your games so politically driven in the future.

Inspired by the classic Midway game, Rampage. Alright, you already know what this game is. Does it scratch that itch? Is it a good homage to the original you loved? Yes and yes. To be fair, I’ve only played the game for less than an hour but I feel like (at least initially) that’s enough time to get a feel for the game of this size. There are a few bugs and playing on controller feels infinitely better than playing on KB+Mouse. Terror of Hemasaurus is a a hell lots of fun! The physics of the world alongside the destruction makes lots and lots of fun messing around with the mechanics of the game. See a rocket? Kick it, A car is coming? Kick it, watch it crashing through the buildings, then kick it again before reaching the ground for style points. Also bonus points for bringing up nostalgia, reminding me of playing Rampage alongside my cousins back in early 2000s. ps: don’t watch the Rampage movie, staring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. It’s terrible. Play Terror of Hemasaurus instead!! Charming little Rampage-like game which has a lot of dark humor in it and even mocks current cultural phenomenons. But beware: not suitable for children because there is a lot of gore to see.
