Honestly a pretty good dating simulator. Most talking scenes are animated (the ones where you;re in the cafe chatting with the date options; which is most of the game), which may sound concerning at first, but I think they did a great job with it. They really nailed the body language/facial expressions in these scenes. The English translation is a bit rough, but certainly better than MTL, and while it does distract a bit from the story, it’s fine in general. The story itself is well written and I don’t feel like things are too rushed and it generally becomes enjoyable learning more about each of the characters. Hints are dropped throughout conversations to help you better answer some questions you’re asked (to raise your affection), but it is occasionally a toss of the coin. Or maybe I’m just a bad listener… Gameplay grind loop is fine. The most enjoyable part being, of course, spending time at the bar (in the evening) chatting with one of the 3 date options. However, during the day, you’ll need to go to your workplace and click a button to generate cash. You do generate more over time as you “level” goes up, and honestly it’s not anywhere near as monotonous as other games. You’ll certainly need as much cash as you can get though to “extend” time with your date options and to buy them drinks (twice if you extend time). Overall, great game and I’m hoping more updates are added to it in the future. I’m not sure it’s worth 15-16 USD, but if you don’t mind splurging a little bit for a cute dating experience then absolutely go for it.
