Crashed twice within 7 minutes, never a good start. I went in to this trying not to spoil things at first, only having seen one trailer video, but from the first occurrence of something in the game, I thought I better go and look it up quickly… And unfortunately, my worst fears are realised. The game absolutely destroys the mix of two of my favourite things of all time (RPGs and Wrestling), by making 90% of the combat about timing button presses. This is fine in one type of video game, and that’s anything musical. And if you’re a fan of that, fair enough. But I’m not, and my disappointment is massive, because it may have been one of the worst design decisions that could have been made. All I can do instead is watch someone else play this on Youtube or Twitch or something, so maybe at least I can experience what seems like a very cool aesthetic, fun story, decentish audio etc, without having to deal with the awfulness of timed button pressing 20 times a battle, and very little other gameplay.
