If you like a game that is senseless in presentation and writing, feel free. As for me, this ‘game’ is nothing worthwhile. My problem is just that the game feels very, very sexist. It seems to throw dirt at the image of women in a way that’s not only derogatory and mean-spirited or even cruel, it’s also rather perverted too. I really do not recommend this to people that do things like “reality-checks”, if you know what I mean. W-F is not a game that is representing it’s premise in any really noble or sympathetic way. IMO, a premise like this should be nuanced and full of reason. A game that portrays sympathetic, empathetic, as well as reasonable characters that are probably just trying to make the world a better place. This review is probably going to be interpreted as harsh.

As far as I know, the developers didn’t have any malicious intent(not taking into account any of the fetish aspects), but to me they really made this as edgy and uncomfortable as possible. Outside of that though I like the gameplay they do have going on(?), like it’s supposed to be a boxing game with Q-T-E’s that are easy to learn but difficult to master, and that would’ve hooked me had the story not been so concerned with… itself? I struggle to really put into words what it is that bothers me so much about this game in a reviewers-format like this. I know that a LOT of people are going to disagree with my take and to tell you the truth, I don’t mind. However, when all is said and done, I’ll leave this game for those who actually love it.
