Scribblenauts Unlimited Free Download
Scribblenauts Unlimited 🙂 – The best-selling, award-winning franchise is back – on your home PC in gorgeous HD for the first time. It’s difficult for me to give this a thumbs down, both because it’s a nostalgic game I played when I was younger and because I don’t think it’s a bad game. I know you must be asking, well if it’s not a bad game, why don’t you recommend it? Scribblenauts is for kids. At least, this one is, that much was obvious to me coming back to this game and playing it for the first time in years. With certain forms of “kids” media they can be made to be enjoyable for both kids AND adults at the same time. Take the movie Shrek for example, it’s a movie intended for kids yes, but it has plenty of adult humor in it and as a result I find that movie just as fun to watch now as I did as a kid. Scribblenauts Unlimited is not like that. The big issue I have with Scribblenauts Unlimited is that it’s not really a game when you break it down.

Another thing that really bothers me about this game is that it never rewards you for being creative, and there’s no incentive for creativity even though the main draw of Scribblenauts (no pun intended) is that you get to be creative and do anything you want to. Most of the time when you choose to spawn something more unique or interesting than the basic, easy to solve answer you’re met with nothing and it begs the question, why waste time trying to be creative and come up with cool or interesting solutions to the puzzles when there’s no incentive to do so, and when giving the boring easy option is both faster and requires less thinking? It’s frustrating because Scribblenauts has such a unique game mechanic that being the notebook, but it feels like they spent all their time developing all these things to spawn and didn’t give enough time to design the game to work around it. So instead we got all these filler quests and puzzles to pad out the game, none of which are particularly fun or interesting FOR ADULTS. That’s the keyword, I think this game is fantastic for kids 12 and under, but if you’re above that age I really cannot recommend this game. It will bore you and you will likely give up about an hour into the game when you realize every quest is the exact same and requires the brainpower of a peanut.
