If your looking for A retro style survival horror game that Is bad to the point Its good. Then this Is perfect for you! Aiming, and Movement feels good. Performance Is good. Atmosphere Is good. Only downsides are the lack of puzzles. Enemies all feel the same from A game play experience. And the animations could use A little work. Overall though If you want to relive the old PS1/PS2 survival horror days. Then this should do the trick for the 3 or so hours It lasts for, and hopefully It gets more updates In the future to improve upon the gameplay experince. Very solid, low-budget, third-person survival horror. Graphics and aesthetics are really nice for an indie game, with a subtle but consistent and effective use of shadows and flames. The environments do get more simplistic as you progress further, but it’s not a big deal. Enemy design is great throughout, appealing to both the period attire and the more degenerate, demonic forms. Combat is very standard, with melee and firearms, but it works, I love the ‘gunaxe’ and while I would’ve appreciated a dodge mechanic, I can’t complain at this price point. I really enjoy this game, and will be following the developer eagerly for whatever they come up with next.
