Aquarium Designer gives you an opportunity to create the aquarium of your dreams! Become a professional whose job is to design it, build it, and fill it with the various underwater wildlife! All types, all sizes – your creativity is your only limit! I’m not hard on simulator games, I don’t expect them to be perfect, they never are, because I know the amount of players who enjoy them are a rather small group. But, I do expect both quality and quantaty for the money I’ll be dishing out on games. I will not be buying your “DLC”, I will however return to the game whenever you throw big updates out and see where you choose to go with the main game. But as a customer to other customers, if you are considering buying this because you’re interested in making aquariums, there’s much better titles out there, with far more gameplay and much less frustrating “quests/jobs”, for far less money, and many of them aren’t finsihed yet either. I know this may sound like a negative review, but remember I said the game isn’t bad, it’s just not deserving of a recommendation either. Not yet, I am hopeful it’ll get there, it’s just not there yet. I have tried so very hard to find at least one really positive thing to say about it, because I mean it when I say I DO NOT hate this game. It’s not awful, it’s not bad, it’s not the worst sim I’ve ever played. However, in it’s current state, it’s.. Bleh. Meh. *shrugs* at best. Nothing about it had me excited or “woah, never seen that before” or “What a relief, the other sim of this genre I played did this differently and it was just the worst”. I know they’re currently working on making the fishes behaviors better, which granted, is currently a bland experience. But honestly, I don’t think better fish behaviors are going to be a defining factor that’ll excite me enough to change this into a an actual positive review. I won’t name all the things I’d like to see improved, cause there’s lot, but I will name two things that stood out to me the most and as the worst.
