The post-apocalyptic dark comedy is back – remastered and even more radioactive than before! Scavenge supplies, rescue your family, and stay alive in your fallout shelter. Make difficult decisions, hunt mutant roaches… and maybe survive. Or not. The initial setup, the setting, the concept, and even the game menu, are extremely fun. This means your first 5 minutes are excellent. Gathering whatever you can in 60 seconds, this is also a fun concept. I work on similar games and I like that. It was great to play it with my 9 year old. And sadly, this exactly expresses the level at which the game keeps its “surprise and drive” to retry: it works only if you have extremely low expectations regarding how “dynamic” your experience will be. “if” you have food and water left, you decide “if” you give food / water (yes/no) and to who, – “if” an event comes, you decide “if” you send someone (yes/no) and who you send – and if no event comes and your people are healthy, you can decide to send someone out And that’s about it. giving food, or giving water, event?, sending someone? done. the rest is clicking next day. With a lack of events, a lack of mechanics I would find this proper for a cheaper price than 10 dollars: such as 3 or 4. At this price, you get something nice enough in terms of game duration and experience

This game is super enjoyable. Very basic game-play, but is challenging and makes for hours of playtime. I have yet to “survive” or complete a challenge due to the difficulty. However, it’s not a game I would be so frustrated that I would be inclined to quit trying. The only thing I dislike is the the clumsiness controlling your character seems to have when collecting items. I feel like I continuously ran into walls regardless of if I was using keyboard or controller. I may still try the other iterations, because marketing+art style are enough to make a sale, so I guess it proves that nowadays only a good intro is enough because it pleases the kids. For myself, giving a good experience to my kids is good enough. But what about all the others? I have really tried to give a honest feedback about it. Thanks for reading! 60 Seconds! Reatomized.
