I love the setup and concept. The first 2/3rds of the game are absolutely great…honestly, one of the best games in this genre, that I have played in years! But good GODS does it not stick the landing. The ending is so bad, it made me actively dislike all of the earlier parts I loved. From a gameplay standpoint, it’s way too much running back and forth across mostly empty maps to fight some lame boss fights. But that’s not the worst part. The worst part is the preaching. So much preaching. I’m not going to spoil anything here, but at one of these points you might do something that results in you losing most, if not all, of your travel perks…and then the game (knowing that it has done this) makes you run across more giant maps. Nothing is gained from these giant travel sections…except for maybe some more preaching.and because of that, the gods will see you as an important piece and will try to persuade you to join their side. Svarog, the first god, created six worlds and fell asleep. In his dream, he created the seventh world, Earth. Once he wakes up, Earth will cease to exist.” or headhunters, and much more.
