I can definitely see and understand why a lot of people don’t really like this game, and i do agree that they removed or changed a lot of stuff from the oddworld series that had its iconic charm and this game just feels like a completely new game itself and not entirely the best one, especially for the fact this is suppose to be a “Abe’s Exodus” remake, and they miserably failed. Although ignoring that side you gotta admit that the gameplay does feel like it bring something new for the table and feels more modern for now days, again it does remove its charm it used to have but that’s just my thought and i just really enjoy the gameplay. And sadly yeah there is still a bit of glitches in the game but restarting the checkpoint would tend to fix it. And its already challenging enough to the point its entertainingly fun! Not a game i wouldn’t personally recommend for people who are new to oddworld, if you’re new to oddworld play new ‘n’ tasty instead. I do have high hopes that the next part of this game will have some improvements and will be much better than this game. Should you buy it or should you not buy? This is completely up to you but id advice buying it when its on sale cuz its a little pricey.
