My favorite game on the Citadel. Was Mass Effect one of your favorite game series? Did you enjoy punching Khalisah Bint Sinan al-Jilani? Was Garrus your best Bro and Tali your little sister? Then this is the game for you. EA wisely choose not to do an enhanced remake, but just remaster the games. Sure you could already play all three on a modern PC, but the graphics on the first and second game were starting to get dated. Bug fixes, minor quality of life improvements. If you enjoyed the games back in the day, the Legendary Edition is worth the upgrade. I am thankful that EA didn’t change the gameplay in Mass Effect 1. It was clunky and weird, but Bioware was trying something new and I enjoyed it’s unique take on combat with no ammo. Mass Effect 2 was Magnificent Seven in Space. And Mass Effect 3 was watching everything crumble around you while trying to desperately stop the rising tides of destruction. I went into this game totally blind… I had no idea what I was in for! This might be my new favorite game! I love the arcade style combat combined with the linear levels and incredibly rich story! I wish more games were like this. You can tell this is an old game, but they did a good job of updating it. The audio tracks are a bit wonky at times as far as levels and separation, controls are a bit clunky sometimes, but overall a very good experience. I encountered very few bugs in back to back play-throughs as male and female Shepard. Absolutely worth a play through whether you’re a longtime mass effect fan or just getting into it for the first time . The changes they made in the first game are insanely good , and the other two are optimized well enough. Plus all DLCs included . Worth the price
