I hit a plateau where the game got insanely harder and I cannot honestly figure out how I’m supposed to progress. From what I can tell they expect you to figure out exactly which combination of fighters you need to progress. But doesn’t that defeat the point of CHOOSING your fighters? It’s not just the progression plateau, I found the only reason I played beyond the first 2 hours was because there were some easy side achievements. I’m past 2 hours so I can’t refund the game, but I honestly have no itch to reopen and continue playing it. I’ve done the same 5 fights over and over and over. I’ve beat the dead horse and see nothing more of interest in this title unfortunately. I guess it’s not the worst $15 I’ve ever spent, but I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone either. I love the Kingdom Rush tower defense games, but this is not one of them and in my opinion this title steers the series in a direction I’m not interested in.
