Gameplay-wise, Countess in Crimson is an interactive visual novel / adventure game hybrid with strong emphasis on dialogue and, of course, steamy and passionate romance.An engaging gothic horror story with The game has this horror/cthulhu plot that is frankly unsexy. Too much of the game feels like its from a horror movie, which is more boner-killing than bone-chilling. You can also unlock costumes for the girls, and lots of them are covered in blood. Gross. I feel like the dev’s next game will be a keeper if he improves on the foundation he built here. A really good adult game. The story was pretty good and it kept me interested. I feel most adult games, the writing is poor but here it is decent enough to hold my interest. Plenty of good looking women. This is pure fantasy and nothing to be ashamed of. Enjoy it for what it is.

I enjoy that the game offers a little bit of replayability. One playthrough you can be naughty. The next you can be compassionate or impressionable so you might not get all the girls in one playhrough. Not sure how much is left in early access but the game delivers a fair amount for the price of a menacing castle towering over the landscape. Within the castle Achievements and unlockable gallery content.Optional futanari content (needs to be enabled in Options) and more girls to come! resides the titular Countess along with her lustful entourage. 4 possible endings.Animated sex scenes.Diverse love interests.Personality trait system that impacts your romance options. As the story unfolds, vicious plots and agendas are revealed while your choices ultimately determine Ashley and Josh’s fate.
