slice-of-life adventure game with beautiful pixelart set in the late 90s rural Indonesia that tells a story about overcoming anxiety, depression, and the relationship between a boy and a girl with supernatural powers I might cheat here since this game is from a fellow Indonesian developer (I visited their office years ago) so my review might be positively biased, so I think I’ll have two reviews. This is an early review (only 4 hours and 2 chapters deep), so things may change as I discover new things during my playthrough. Cheating review follows. They nailed the nostalgia of 90s Indonesia culture, so many references here and there (I think I knew one of the bridges…). I giggled here

and there (obviously I am playing in Bahasa Indonesia), the casual conversations are not too rigid as I expected, so I guess this time they prepared the script also in Bahasa Indonesia and not translating it from English at the last minutes (I plan to replay the whole game in English to see what global players receive this game, so I may be wrong here). Some of the music resembles Indonesian music (I don’t regret at all buying all DLC, one of which is digital soundtracks), although so far I haven’t found dangdut music (just two chapters in the game).
