Earn points by racing to be first to the hole, collect all the coins and crystals, or use your power-ups to ensure that only you make it to the hole to secure your victory at the top of the leaderboard. the final shape of your shot starts to feel very intuitive after a while, letting you feel at first like you have a wide range of mechanical options (depending on your random draws of course) that you can then apply to the situations you find yourself in. As you unlock things and get more options for movement, tools for deck thinning, and even cards which can place objects on the course, you can reach a point in your run where you feel like you’re making a well oiled and adaptable golf machine. Growing your deck and earning perks mid run is also surprisingly unobtrusive to the golfing experience as well, meaning you’ll be happy to engage with those systems as well.
