I was all hyped up for this game, thanks to the unbelievably positive reviews. At the time of writing this, there is only one negative review. But, hey, within the first 10 seconds of playing, I was already disappointed by the outdated and unappealing user interface (UI) of the game. It feels completely out of touch with the year 2023. Well, actually it’s not that bad. The game is cheap tho, and one shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Maybe the gameplay would make up for it? Well, I was wrong.The gameplay is a total letdown, it felt rather lackluster and uninspired. I couldn’t derive any enjoyment from the few minutes I spent playing the game. The combat mechanics left much to be desired, and the storyline gave off an unsettling cult-like vibe, which was simply not my cup of tea. While being part of a cult can sometimes be amusing, this game just gives me the creeps. Now I have learned that ‘overwhelmingly positive reviews’ isn’t always a reliable measure of quality. You can give the game a try, though I will be requesting a refund.
