The entire game is robbed of everything that made The New Order phenomenal and I have no idea what the hell happened at Machine Games. It’s weak, unfocused, supremely stupid, sloppy, and feels both unfinished and misdirected. I hate this game so much that a friend mentioned it just now and I felt obligated to backtrack to this stupid Steam page and put in a review. A review nobody cares about and doesn’t matter. A review that nobody is going to read, that won’t influence anyone’s purchase. A review that is more catharsis as a place to express my suffering. A review for a game that I was so, so, so unbelievably excited for, enough to set aside life to play, and wound up ultimately taking like 2 – 3 years after launch to actually finish. A process that was still entirely forced out of some dumb obligation I put on myself. I recommend Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus to absolutely nobody. I hate this game with every fibre of my being

Krásny soundtrack od Micka Gordona. Krásny príbeh. Dokonalá hra. Samozrejme že Hitler nemôže v tomto úžasnom pokračovaní chýbať :). Hra je pekné plynulá, pekne optimalizovaná, stealth killy sú potešením a dual wield je kurva úžasný. Hra je proste úžasná. Jediný taký mínus je to že je malý výber zbraní a balance zbraní je tiež dosť zlý

Wolfenstein II The New Colossus ?

An abhorrent, disaster of a game that fails catastrophically in every way that matters or could matter. I say this as someone who played through The New Order maybe 5 times or more, two of which at least were back to back, and adore the experience to this day. I genuinely think The New Order is a criminally underappreciated masterpiece of the first person genre. So excited I was for a follow up that I took time off from work to sink into The New Colossus. It remains, to date, the most disappointing sequel I’ve ever played, in every respect, with no exceptions. Dedicating a single neuron of thought to this game causes me cranial discomfort. The story has a small handful of cool moments and potential but is otherwise a bizarre tonally busted borderline self-parody that discards the delicate mood and tone of The New Order in favour of dumb, slapstick-like humour and obnoxious self indulgence. Where The New Order somehow expertly balances grindhouse-like absurdity with surprisingly earnest, sombre, and deeply human character development and dialogue, The New Colossus makes a mess all over itself unsure of what it wants to be or what it wants to do, relying on contrived, ridiculous scenarios and climaxes that are deeply unfulfilling and borderline on embarrassment. The combat is dreadful thanks to awful sounding/feeling weapons, the worst hit feedback and damage balance I’ve seen in a AAA first person shooter, and excessively large level design that completely busts the incredibly exciting, snappy, momentum driven encounter design of The New Order. It recycles ideas from The New Order, only worse. The stealth/combat pacing is worse. The boss fights are dreadful. The levels are too large and repetitive, and the game takes too long to introduce gameplay ideas that encourage more varied play styles to accommodate the level scope. But then makes a mess of those anyway by having the last for about 10% of the game and not utilised in anyway meaningful to begin with.
