I have been playing this game recently and can I say, It is super good. I find this true for a few reasons.One, I love the game-play loop that this game establishes. It essentially boils down to deciding what you wanna get next, then going to a place, scavenge around inspecting and comparing the goodies. Then after that’s done you return to the safe house and recycle all of it. I don’t know how, but its so satisfying to turn in all the loot you got at the end on the day is so rewarding. Second, the game does horror well. From my experience it never felt unplayable because of how scary it was. It was more like a healthy does of dread. This however is counteracted by goodies laid about the levels.Never have I been like “I hate this I hate this.” but still wanted to explore because I couldn‘t wait to find some good stuff to bring home and scrap. Another thing that allows this is be scary it the ramping difficulty with different zombies. At the end of every day the zombies get more plentiful and strong and makes you think.
