This DLC is a mixed bag. Tons of new content but they kinda screwed it up by upping the difficulty to a point that it’s mostly frustrating than fun. First- You need to get used to a harder version of Binding of Isaac while trying to finish the new paths(which is really difficult and you might cry a lot tryin and dyin) before you can enjoy most of the new content and unlocks so Repentance is like being given a treasure chest but without a key and the only way to get the treasure is making your own key with your bare hands until it bleeds. The original BOI normal mode is now the Hard and the new Hard Mode is just Pain. I will still recommend it mostly because the new content is so massive that it outweighs the negative, Just a lot of gettin used to and it can be quite fun again. Trust me, the possibilities and synergies of the new items is Bonanza!
