The pleasure of the game comes from its charm and world in which you explore. Imagine playing Dark Souls but with Shovel Knight graphics, and with Wuppo style objectives (problem/puzzle solving, light platforming, mild combat, fun challenging boss fights, good NPC quests) The game is really fun to try and complete. After “beating the game”, you’ve only really completed 1/3 of the game. It continues after being beaten once, and the fun increases as you push towards full completion. Collecting armour, weapons, AND HATS is addicting, and there’s a side story that simulates a roguelike dungeon crawler that’s a blast to play. You can’t get bored playing this game imo.
