Comparing to MotoGP, bikes change direction faster and are more precise in handling. Unfortunately there is again delay in reaction of bike to player input so most of the time you countersteer the effect you did. And sadly bike geometry set up (trail and rake) does not change that – of course bike turns faster but after small delay.Trailbraking feels less smooth than in MotoGP22 but still allows to be where you want to be and feel the front feedback to prevent the lowside. Corner exit feels progressive and throttle control precise enough to control trajectory in corner. Braking feels better comparing to recent MotoGP game because stoppies are more predictable but again they feel scripted – that is, they are not directly depending on player input so you can slam the brakes at lower speed and stoppie will not occur. Looks like brakes are coded more like deceleration speed than brake input itself. I think so because stoppies start to show up when additional deceleration speed is added from downshifting or rear brake – feels weird. Again we have unrealistic, high edge grip of front tire allowing to brake very hard in full lean and I really do not like that. Seems its a trend to allow less skilled players to avoid frustration from realistic behaviour of the bike… Cold or used up tires feel very much the same, providing the same amount of grip. So even on dead front tire it is not easier to crash – at least to me the feeling is not noticeable. Bike set ups seem not to make any difference. Physics model suffer from some weird rear end wobbling, as bike starts to loose stability in full lean for unknown reason. And one more thing I dislike – rear brake.
