Paintball War 2 is the sequel to the most ambitious sports simulation game based on sports discipline in real life called paintball! I was hoping for something that might as closely as possible resemble real life Paintball. Unfortunately, this game is not that. At all. They say the game was launching with a “Paintball Simulation” game mode, but it has nothing of the sort. Just Deathmatch, CTF, Some Territory mode, and a stupid gun race like COD or something. Everything but a one hit kill PAINTBALL game! The characters have a 100 point health bar and take multiple hits to die. A very dysfunctional server browser system that splits the world into like 20 freaking ping zones. And on top of all of it’s other low quality junk, it kicks you out to the main menu after every round. Can’t even just host a lobby and keep playing like normal. I really wanted to like this game, but instead it’s gonna be one of the only ones I’ve ever refunded. Don’t buy this game. It makes me want to go buy assets and make my own Paintball game in UE4. Sorry devs, but this is ridiculous.

There are 6 game modes: Team Deathmatch, Best Player, Capture The Flag, One Flag, Cover Point, Gun Race. So, the good thing is there are bots. But only for Deathmatch and Best Player mode. For the other 4 game modes you only could play vs players without bots. So I only could thest Deathmatch and Best Player this far. The game seemed cool as a new paintball game. But as far as I could see the game has no real paintball mode where the enemy player is out of the game when you hit him once. There is a good choice in the weapon arsenal. There are 15 markers and 3 pistols. There are diffirent skins for all those weapons but the bad thing is that you need to buy those with real money… I hoped this would be a more realistic paintball game, but for me it looks like a cheap COD model.
