The game seems ok but has a bunch of problems right now that need to get adressed first. Your video settings are fullscreen or not. Nothing else. No different resolutions, and the game looks blurry on my 1440p screen. Framerate is locked to 60, not bad but in this day and age 120+ or unlocked should be expected. My Dualsense controller doesn’t work, it doesn’t even get picked up. Sucks, but not a huge deal, I can just use an Xbox controller. You can change most bindings, just not the back / confirm buttons. This is a game, that has back on A and confirm on B (like on the Switch or Playstation games in the past). Again, not a big problem, you just need to get used to it. There’re weird graphical artifacts. Sometimes these white lines show up on screen, they’re not big and only for a few frames, but noticeable. Every time you pick up anything that’s out in the world, you get a big box to tell you, you picked something up. These pickups come from objects you destroy or float around, so you’ll constantly see this box. I don’t need to know that I got a bit of mana or something, especially not such a big box. Minor complaint, but it’s just unnecessary. Incomplete or wrong tutorial boxes. Some of the early tutorials show the wrong buttons or are maybe incomplete. One tutorial mentions sprinting with A and then jumping for a higher jump, but sprinting is on a trigger and jump on A. Another one tells you how to swing from some grapple points to fling yourself but forgets to mention you need to press jump. You are just told to let go of the grapple button. As for the game itself, I’m not too familiar with the characters. I’ve not watched the anime or read the manga, just read the first novel, so I don’t know the character you are playing. The game is relatively smooth though, but I need to get further and get more upgrades to say more. As I said above, you should probably wait for some fixes, unless the things I mentioned don’t bother you, in that case just get the game.
