If this is what an apocalyptic world looks like, then let’s drop the bombs. The world is beautiful. The sky has colors like northern lights. The flora of the area is bright and vivid. Animals look rugged and sometimes brighter than they should be. It’s a beautiful world to explore and this is where Far Cry has always shined as a game, the exploration is a blast. The world doesn’t look all that much different than the previous game, but following creeks, running through the forest, or eventually squirrel diving through the air to cover more ground is stunning no matter where you are. The scenery does not change all that much, though certain sections are definitely more swampy than foresty. The action is good, not great, but good. You get to craft weapons as you collect resources by killing people and taking over bases. There are a wide variety of melee weapons and a variety of guns including objects you can lob too. The action started out easy and worked well by progressing towards a much more difficult enemy. The enemies themselves did not vary too often.
