Fight exciting Castle Sieges and manipulate the country’s Politics. Welcome to the Empires experience! It’s pretty good for a Dynasty Warriors Empires game. Not DW 8E good nor DW 5E good, but a pretty good DW Empires game. It does have interesting features that are unique to DW 9E though, like free roam – housing customization – sleeping – more perhaps.

Overall it’s a decent Empires game, but if it’s your first Empires game, I’d go with Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires. Otherwise if you’re a veteran of the series, I’d honestly wait for an at least 20% discount. Compared to the sheer amount of options and activities in DW 8E, it’s not worth the full price imo, but is a decent enough Empires game. That about covers it. On another note though, the visuals are very impressive. You can tell that photorealism was the goal this time around. Edit Open World, more time put into the game: So the open world is pretty fun, but also pretty limited.
