Improved and reworked level, character and environment graphics. This game is a huge improvement from Darksiders I. There’s a decent bit of gear swapping and collectibles and a skill tree. The combat isn’t anything crazy or groundbreaking. Maybe it was in 2012 when it came out but it’s interesting enough to keep me playing.

What an absolute masterpiece of a game. I already played through it once on the WiiU but I got it again on steam just to experience this amazing game again. Beautiful soundtrack, super interesting lore, the gameplay is fun and addicting and collecting gear that is actually cosmetic, bosses are fun and usually have their own mechanics you have to learn and counter. The puzzles are nice but sometimes stumped me though eventually you understand how they tend to work which makes playing through the game just that much smoother.

The world is huge, physically and lore-wise. Maybe I’m blinded by nostalgia but this game is just fantastic and so fun to sit down and play and experience the world of Darksiders. I would recommend this game to everyone, especially fans of hack-and-slashes or just the darksiders series as a whole. Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition ?️
