Part interactive fiction, part Felis domesticus adventure, “Cats and the Other Lives” explores the reunion of a broken family from the perspective of their house cat, Aspen. That game is so special for me. I have played game’s demo and i’m enchanted. Previously, it’s so exciting and funny playing as a cat. With that curious eyes, look around and interact to environment as a real cat. That’s funny. I must to talk about Aspen and family’s story. When i played demo, i understand just entry a really family drama. But it is not as always, this time every character have a special personal backstory. It’s felt. I am just so excited for Aspen and Family’s all story. I definitely recommend. All of this characters have a real personal story and real reactions. This is one of the best examples of pixel art I’ve seen in a while. The smallest elements in each room were given careful consideration, they add significantly to the overall experience and mood even though they have no effect on the gameplay. It may initially look a little strange for characters to have blank faces with nothing but facial hair, but characters are so well animated and written that it doesn’t matter. The game is played exclusively with a mouse. It’s easy and doesn’t complicate the gameplay. Depending on how far away from the cat you click, it will either walk or run to that spot. By holding down the mouse button, the cat will keep walking until you release it. When hovering the mouse cursor over points of interest, you will be able to perform several actions like jump on things and touch it with your paw. Since cats are naturally curious, you will be able to wander around, listen to people conversing, and frequently hear things that no one should hear, as well as sense things that only cats can. You can glimpse past memories, to be more precise. It sounds more thrilling than it is. This happens naturally as you move around and is really just another way to tell the story.
