Because that is exactly what you’ll get with this gem. It’s basically Mcree the video game. Its a short game but really fun. It is not a masterpiece. It is however a pretty great game. I was 11 when I first played this game in 2017 and omg I loved it. I’m currently 73 and tbh at this age I could strongly say this was the main reason I love western games and movies. Oh, and the big boobs in that Will Smith movie. Action packed, well made, with an interesting narrative. The duels are fun. Just know that it’s very short, very linear and very “arcade-y”, not a knock on the game at all but don’t expect something where you can explore or interact with the world besides shooting at it. It’s one of those games that will age well because of the well executed, simple, yet fun game/gun play and timeless graphics. I really wish more FPS games were like this. Multiple single player modes, unique game mechanics, isn’t janky and actually knows when to end and not overstay its welcome. FPS publishers nowadays expect you to play a game like it’s a full time job it seems. I don’t know exactly how I would feel about this had I played it in 2013 but today I really appreciate linear games with a no nonsense no filler breakneck pace in a sea of open world fatigue.
