Depending on the character’s subtype, players can dash to evade attacks or activate defensive shields, unleash torpedoes or aircrafts, and switch-on character-specific special attacks to defeat unruly enemies! The difficulty is definitely pretty easy, especially compared to actual bullet hell games like Touhou. People who are looking for gameplay should probably look elsewhere. I would have also liked to see alternative routes where people could follow the stories of like Eagle Union or Iron Blood at the start of the game… But I guess they really wanted to tell the story of Shimakaze and Suruga Either way, if you’re someone who also likes VNs, this might be a good introduction to the franchise.
