This is a first-person indie horror game. In 9 Childs Street you will find the terrifying atmosphere of a recently abandoned house, and its captive inhabitants, through the eyes of a curious little boy in a red cap. In love with it. I have been waiting for a game to scare me like From the Darkness, searching far and wide. But the game I was looking for came straight from the source. If you have not played that, you definitely should. Comparing to From the Darkness I feel any gripe I possibly could have with that game, has been resolved, this is nice and polished, very continuous, not immersion breaking (features From the Darkness had but not to this extent)

It felt like a fluid story, scares were well placed and timed, atmosphere was on point. The environment feels like it’s reacting to you vs just existing. There were many beautiful touches that I had to stop and comment about how nice they were. And the unending feeling of crushing fear and stress, was refreshing. I do wonder if there’s a secret ending… I feel like I was led to believe that and will have to deep dive some day. I went in with high expectations and I am very satisfied with this game. Worth far more than it’s asking price but I am very appreciative of it’s price.

9 Childs Street is a first-person indie horror game in the walking simulation genre, the main emphasis is on the scary atmosphere and the sense of fear of the player. During the passage, you will have to face paranormal phenomena and learn the terrifying mystery of the owner of the house. The setting is a house across the street, in which, not so long ago, lived an elderly lonely man, but he is no longer seen and the house lights no longer come on. You play as a curious 9 year old boy named ‘Armin who was wondering

what happened to his neighbor and one night he saw a light in the seemingly already abandoned house across the street. Without thinking long, he took a flashlight and went to investigate the sinister house in secret from his parents. Why did it feel as if someone was watching from a corner? Why do his eyes look so alive? Walkthrough of the game ~50 minutes. Warning! There are flashes of light in this game.
